Saudi Arabia's Eastern Petrochemical Company (SHARQ) has restarted its troubled LLDPE line after a serious technical failure hit the plant during late July 2018. The two LLDPE lines at Jubail complex with a combined capacity of 750,000 tons/year are up running, though it might need more time to restore regular run rate.
“As a result, we are still unable to supply regular quantity for both grades FD21HN and FD21HS. Shipment for this time also take longer due to this issue,” a source close to the producer informed. The source added that grade LLDPE HB18N is not available this time as the company is giving priority to produce FD21HN and FD21HS.
