A major Indonesian producer announces new prices to local market with increase for PP while PE offers remained stable. This is the second time the producer adjust PP prices up this week, market reported.

The latest offer from this producer indicate IDR150,000/t ($11/t) higher for PPH film and PP thermoforming, and a IDR140,000/t ($10/t) increase for homo-PP raffia and inj grades. Market informed that weakening rupiah is the main driver behind these increases while traders in the country reported satisfactory trading activities this week.
