According to market sources, Hanwha Chemical (Ningbo) Co Ltd is planning for a scheduled turnaround for its VCM and PVC unit by 4 January 2019.
Based in Ningbo, China, the VCM and PVC plant has a production capacity of 300,000 tons/year each. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 10 days. A source closed to the company informed that they are planning to expand the production capacity of their VCM and PVC plants to 400,000 tons/year each by next year, however the detailed date is pending for confirmation as they are still waiting for the arrival of equipment parts.
