A major Thailand producer decided to rollover their HDPE prices to Vietnam from last week amid sluggish demand and competitive re-export cargoes. The producer offered HDPE film, injection, yarn and blow molding grade at $1240/t CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

Source from the producer informed, “We maintained our offers unchanged from last week and so far we have not managed to conclude any deal. Demand for HDPE blow molding is slightly better than other grades yet sales are unsatisfactory. Many of our regular customers are attending ChinaPlast, therefore we are prepared for another sluggish week until beginning of May. We have comfortable supply for now.”
