Emergency shutdown at India’s Reliance LDPE plant

According to market sources, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has unexpectedly shut its LDPE plant by 19 February 2019 due to unexpected technical glitches.

Based in Jamnagar, India, the LDPE plant has a production capacity of 400,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 3-4 weeks.
