According to market sources, Inner Mongolia ChinaCoal Mengda New Energy & Chemical Industry Co Ltd (Zhongmei Mengda Chemical) has started to offer commercial cargoes for coal based LLDPE (7042 grade) to domestic market as of today. Earlier this week the company has also reportedly achieved on-spec olefins output and commercial sales for coal based PP parcels.

After a slight delay from the initial schedule, the dimethyl ether/methanol to olefins (DMTO) plant is now fully brought to live with 1.8 million ton/year of methanol, 600,000 ton/year of olefins and the PP and PE units have annual capacity of 300,000 tons/year each.
