According to market sources, Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co. has shut its no. 1 PP units for maintenance starting today, 28 April 2016 for a minor maintenance work.

Located in Nanjing, China, the company’s No. 1 PP unit with total capacity of 140,000 tons/year equally divided into two lines, Line A and Line B. Line A is expected to shut for 8 days while Line B shall be offline for 4 days.

Meanwhile, its No. 2 PP unit with production capacity of 200,000 ton/year is operating at normal rate at the time this report is published.
