According to market players, Zhangjiagang Yangzijiang (Dong Hua) Energy Fortune Petrochemical Co Ltd has unexpectedly shutdown both of its PDH and PP units today due to some production issues at the upstream PDH unit caused inadequate supply of propylene to feed the downstream PP plant.

Based in Ningbo, China, the company owns a 660,000 ton/year PDH plant and a 400,000 ton/year PP unit. The restart schedule of the units could not be ascertained at the time this report is published.
