A Thailand producer reportedly announced fresh HDPE and PP block copolymer prices for June delivery to Vietnam today at reduction compared to last week. Indeed, HDPE cargoes are offered at $10/t lower while PP block copolymer cargoes see $20/t decreased. The producer’s latest prices stand at $1210/t for HDPE film, injection and blow molding grades and at $1175/t for PP block copolymer, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC As term.

Source from the producer commented, “So far our customers are placing bid at $1150/t for HDPE as they are expecting speedier reduction in the near term. Market is rather quiet and we are not very optimistic about the market prospect in the coming weeks.”
