Market players reported that Reliance Industries Limited has shut its PVC unit today due to water supply shortage. This is the second time the plant has been taken un-scheduled shutdown in the past two month for the same problem.

Located at Ghandar, Dahej, Gujarat, India, the plant has an annual production capacity of 315,000 ton/year. The restart schedule of the plant could not be ascertained.
