Emergency shutdown at China’s Zhongan coal-based PP, PE plants

According to market sources, Zhongan United Coal Chemical Co Ltd has experienced emergency shutdown at its coal-based PP and PE plants by 6 October 2019 due to technical glitches.

Based in Anhui, China, the company has a coal-based PP and HDPE/LLDPE swing plant each with production capacity of 350,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 8 days.
