According to market sources, Lotte Chemical has unexpectedly shut its HDPE plant due to power failure by 17 October 2019.
Based in Yeosu, South Korea, the No. 3 HDPE plant has a production capacity of 150,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for a week.
