In an official statement posted on 30 October 2019 on its website, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced that the country decided to eliminate all anti-dumping duties imposed on imported PVC from the USA, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea started 29 September 2019.
The decision derived after a year of a sunset review. The Ministry said that local producers including Xinjiang Zhongtai Chemical Co Ltd, Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co Ltd, Shaanxi Beiyuan Chemical Group Co Ltd, Tianjin Daxie Chemical Co Ltd, and Yibin Tianyuan Group Co Ltd have also submitted requests to terminate the ADD investigation.
