A major Thailand producer has announced fresh HDPE offers to Vietnam market this week with $40/ton lower from a week earlier to reach $1170/ton for yarn, injection and blow moulding grades, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term. The producer is currently collecting buy idea and bid from buyers for HDPE film, sources added.

A producer source informed, “Demand for HDPE film is especially weak in which we see very little buying interest in Vietnam. Last week we only managed to close some small deals, and we are not very optimistic about the sales result for this week. Prices might remain under downward pressure in the near term.”
