Players in Vietnam reported that a major Saudi Arabia producer has announced February offers with $20-30/t higher compared to last month to reach $1070/t for HDPE film and $1080/t for LLDPE film, CIF, LC AS term.

A buyer received the new offers said, “Our supplier informed that they have very small allocation for this month due to their plant delay start-up after maintenance shutdown. We are planning to bid for $50/t discount in view of lower ethylene costs.”

Import HDPE film to Vietnam currently stand at $1070-1110/t while LLDPE film is reported at $1070-1140/t, CIF LC AS term.
