According to Circular number 16/2016/TT-BTC signed by Vietnam Ministry of Finance on 21 Jan 2016, the country will reduce the import duty imposed on dutiable homo-PP cargoes from 3% to only 1% by 6 Mar 2016. Import PP copolymers remain unaffected at 0%.
Besides, import BOPP is entitled to 0% import duty to Vietnam starting from 6 Mar 2016 if it meets specific technical requirements as following:
