A day after lifting the weekly import offers to China, a major Thailand producer has stepped back on the price list given the stiff resistance from the market.
The adjusted the price list and changes compared to the previous day are shown in the following table:

Sources said that the adjusted prices remain unattractive and very limited number of deals have been achieved. Players, however, find non-dutiable LLDPE film originated from the Philippines more appealing at $770/ton CFR China term.
“Supply is limited, and even Middle Eastern suppliers are very firm on the prices. However, we have a good quantity arriving at the end of the month, hence prefer to adopt a more cautious stance,” a buyer added.
