According to market sources, LG Chem Ltd (LG Chemical) has restarted its styrene monomer (SM) unit on 26 May, 2016 after a scheduled turnaround.
Based in Daesan, South Korea, the unit has a production capacity of 180,000 ton/year. It has been shut since 9 May 2016.
