According to market sources, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company (BSR) is planning to take its sole PP plant offline this August as the company is shutting the refinery unit for maintenance. 

There has not been confirmation on the exact date of the overhaul at the PP line, however, the 130,000 barrels per day refinery unit would be shut from 12 August to 1 October 2020.

Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company (BSR) is the oldest polypropylene producer in Vietnam, making 150,000 tons/year of the product.
