Market sources reported receiving new HDPE offers from a major Thailand producer with another $15/ton reduction compared to earlier this week to reach $1120/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term for July delivery.   

Commented on the new offer, source from the producer said, “Our allocation for this week has dropped considerably while most buyers are placing bid for as much as $40/ton lower than initial prices. We are not in the position to cut price aggressively though demand is not strong.”
