According to market sources, Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company was forced to take an emergency shutdown at their PE plant last weekend due to some technical issues. The company reportedly restarted the unit as of today and has reached on-spec production.
Located at Zhenhai, China, the plant is able to produce 450,000 tons/year of PE.
