According to market sources, INEOS has unexpectedly shut its No. 1 Olefins cracker on 18 September due to technical glitches.
Based in Chocolate Bayou, Texas, United States, the No. 1 Olefins unit is able to produce 1.07 million tons/year of ethylene and 235,000 tons/year of Propylene. The restart schedule is pending for further confirmation.
