Crude oil traded lower despite sharp fall in US stockpiles



International benchmarks for crude oil traded lower on 18 February 2021 as market participants took profit after prices hit the highest levels since January 2020 regardless of the sharp fall in stockpiles in the USA. 

Brent settled at $63.93/barrel, down $0.41 or 0.64%. 

WTI settled at $60.52/barrel, down $0.62 or 1.02%.
