According to market sources, Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP) has unexpectedly shut its No.1 PE unit on 23 June 2016 due to issues on the granulator.
Based in Fujian, China, the No. 1 PE unit has a 450,000 ton/year of production capacity. It is expected to remain off-stream for 2-3 days.
