Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Company has reportedly postponed the maintenance schedule at its No. 2 LDPE unit in Guangdong slightly from the initial plan, according to market sources.
The company was mulling over shutting down the 250,000 tons/year No. 2 LDPE unit on 15 March, however, decided to delay to 24 March. The shutdown duration remain 63 days.
In addition, its 350,000 tons/year HDPE plant and 300,000 tons/year PP plant at the same location are slated to shut down from 25 March to 2 May 2021.
