Market sources reported that Advanced Petrochemical Company (APC) has restarted its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) and PP plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia on 11 April 2021 after completed a four-weeks maintenance work.
The PDH unit has an annual capacity of 455,000 tons/year while the PP line has the capacity of 450,000 ton/year, were taken offline in March 2021.
Advanced Petrochemical is also building a new PP plant with an annual capacity of 800,000 tons/year at the same complex that would come online by the second half of 2024.
