International benchmarks for crude oil climbed to a six-week high on Thursday, 29 April 2021 on strong economic data from the US and weaker US dollar, which overshadowed the rising COVID-19 cases in India and Brazil.
Brent settled at $68.56/barrel, up $1.29 or 1.88%.
WTI closed at $65.01/barrel, up $1.15 or 1.77%.
