Crude oil gained more than 1% on anticipations of falling US inventories



International benchmarks for crude oil gained more than 1% on Tuesday, 4 May 2021 after industry data estimates US crude stockpile dropped sharply last week, fueling positive expectation of the demand in the world’s largest economy.

Brent gained $1.32, or 1.92% to close at $68.88/barrel.

WTI gained $1.2, or 1.83% to close at $65.69/barrel.
