A major Malaysian producer reportedly decreased local offers by MYR100/t ($24/t) for LLDPE, MYR50/t ($12/t) for HDPE film and blow molding, and stable offers for other PE grades and PP compared to last month’s offers. Players attributed the narrower price reduction to the weaker regional currency recently as well as global firmer trend.
