International benchmarks for crude oil held largely steady on Wednesday, 5 May 2021 as a report on the sharp drop in US crude inventory shielded the market from the worsening outbreak in India and Brazil.
Brent closed at $68.96/barrel, up 8 cents or 0.12%.
WTI closed at $65.63/barrel, down 6 cents or 0.09%.
