Indonesian buyers reported on the first trading day of the week having received fresh PP and PE offers from a major local producer with sharp reduction from the previous week as the market gradually submerge in the holiday mood.

Sentiment in Indonesia is declining as more companies started to take off for the Ramadan holiday. In the meantime, sources said that offers in the distribution market are more competitive, which could pressure the producer to further step back on the price list to attract buying interest.
