International benchmarks for crude oil gained more than 1% to hit an eight-week high on Wednesday, 12 May 2021 after reports showed a decline in US crude inventories last week while exports plunged, signaling the reviving local demand.
Brent gained 77 cents or 1.11% to $69.31/barrel.
WTI gained 80 cents or 1.21% to $66.08/barrel.
