The National Bureau of Statistics of China has released the official Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) for the month of March that showed an expansionary of 1.3 percentage point from February to 51.9 percent.
China’s manufacturing sector has remained in the expansionary territory for 13 months in a row.
The Export Index jumped 2.4% in March from February, which industry experts contributed to the reviving demand in the US after the country released the stimulus package.
The local service sector is also recovering with business activities rose 4.4% from the previous month to 55.2 points.
