In the latest official data from the National Bureau of Statistics of China showed that the country’s manufacturing activities slowed down in April 2021, with Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) fell to 51.1 from 51.9 in March.
Industry experts said that chip shortage, shipping issues, and rising production costs are the primary factors weighted on the manufacturing sector this month.
Net Export Order fell to 50.4 in April, down from 51.2 in March.
In the service sector, activities stood at 54.9, down from 56.3 in the previous month.
