Crude slipped on reports of potential Iran nuclear deal

International benchmarks of crude oil fell from the eight-week highs on Tuesday, 18 May 2021 after media reported that the US and Iran have made substantial progress in reviving the nuclear accord, which could allow Iran’s crude to flow more freely in the market.

Brent fell 75 cents or 1.09% to $68.71/barrel.

WTI fell 78 cents or 1.19% to $65.49/barrel.
