International benchmarks for crude oil extended the firming trend on Friday, 4 June 2021 as OPEC+ continues to restraint production output while the EIA reports on larger than expected crude inventory reduction in the US fueled positive expectation.
Brent rose 58 cents or 0.8% to $71.89/barrel.
WTI gained 81 cents or 1.2% to $69.76/barrel.
