Crude oil market slid ahead of OPEC+ meeting, spreading COVID-19 cases



International benchmarks for crude oil fell sharply on Monday, 28 June 2021 as industry experts expect OPEC+ to raise crude oil production output by as much as 1 million barrels per day. Meanwhile, part of Asia and Australia fell back into lockdown as the new COVID-19 variant cases surged.

Brent for August settlement dropped $1.50 to $74.68/barrel.

WTI dropped $1.14 to $72.91/barrel.
