A major Thailand producer has announced August delivery shipment prices for HDPE cargoes to Vietnam as of today with $35-40/ton higher than previous offers on the back of higher production costs and limited supply. The producer’s price list currently stands at $1185/ton for HDPE film, injection, blow moulding and at $1190/ton for HDPE yarn, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

Source from the producer informed, “We have very limited allocation this month, and hence we only offer to regular converter customers. Initial market respond was not as good as expected, yet we believed buyers would eventually accept higher levels.”
