International benchmarks for crude oil inched higher on Thursday, 5 August 2021 – the first gain this week on the back of weakening US dollars while trader takes a step back to assess the impact of the Delta variant on the demand.
Brent added 91 cents to $71.29/barrel.
WTI rose 94 cents to $69.09/barrel.
