The Energy Information Agency released the latest data on Wednesday, 18 August 2021 that showed a 3.2 million barrels dropped in US crude inventories last week to 435.5 million barrels – the lowest levels since January 2020.
However, gasoline stocks rose 696,000 barrels to 228.2 million barrels.
Refinery utilization rates increase by 0.4 percentage point to 91.7%.
