Market sources reported that Sinopec Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Co Ltd has delayed the restart schedule of its monoethylene glycol (MEG) to September due to some technical issues.
Based in Beijing, China, the MEG unit has a production capacity of 80,000 ton/year. It has been shut since beginning of May for scheduled turnaround and initial restart schedule was during recent days.
