International benchmarks for crude oil registered another session of losses on Friday, 20 August 2021 as investors continue to sell futures in anticipation of the weaker demand as the Delta variant has forced numerous countries to restrict movements.
Brent dropped $1.27 or 1.9% to settled at $65.18/barrel.
WTI for September delivery settled down $1.37 or 2.2% at $62.32/barrel.
