International benchmarks for crude oil settled lower on Thursday, 26 August 2021 on renewed concerns over the demand outlook as COVID-19 infection continues to rise while Mexico restores some of the output after the fire.
Brent fell $1.18 or 1.6% to close at $71.07/barrel.
WTI slipped 94 cents or 1.4% to settle at $67.42/barrel.
