India Scraps Plan To Impose Anti-Dumping Duty On PVC Imports
India has decided against imposing anti-dumping duties on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) imports from seven countries, according to an official confirmation from the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR). The Ministry of Finance declined to act on the DGTR’s earlier recommendation, concluding that the measure would not be in the public interest.
Market participants are now evaluating the implications for near-term pricing, with expectations pointing to a softer trend as key international suppliers prepare to unveil their December shipment offers.

Southeast Asian Homo-PP Market Tracked Stable to Softer Trend
The Southeast Asian homo-PP market remained on a stable to softer trajectory on the second day of the week amid growing pessimisim over the near-term outlook. Trade discussions remained limited as buyers are well-stocked while expecting a resumed downswing in the days ahead.
In Vietnam, the consistent presence of non-dutiable Australian homo-PP injection at the sub-$800/ton levels spurred discussions that import parcels in the high-$700/ton range may soon become the mainstream.
