Lotte Chemical Corporation (LCC) will spin off its Daesan operations and merge the unit with HD Hyundai Chemical Co., Ltd. (HDC), in a restructuring aimed at boosting competitiveness in South Korea’s petrochemical sector.
Near-total clearances across the PP complex were achieved on Wednesday driven by competitive platform pricing, while LLDPE drawdowns were fractured by aggressive baseline hikes and subdued post-holiday demand.
