China’s apparent PE consumption rose to an estimated 3.06 million tons in July 2026, climbing 13.7% month-on-month to break above the 3.0-million-ton mark for the first time since the first quarter.
PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical has achieved commercial production at its No. 1 full-density polyethylene (FDPE) unit under the Phase II Tarim ethylene expansion in Xinjiang, with initial export cargoes emerging across Southeast Asian trade routes.
