Oil rose on Monday as Hurricane Ida disrupt US productions
International benchmarks for crude oil advanced on Monday, 30 August 2021 as US producers suspend productions in the Gulf of Mexico due to Hurricane Ida with no certain restart date. However, gains were capped on news that OPEC+ would push forward with lifting production output.
Brent settled 71 cents higher at $73.41/barrel.
WTI rose 47 cents to close at $69.21/barrel.
