Oil slid on weak demand outlook, strengthening US dollar
Global benchmarks for crude oil registered another falling day on Tuesday, 7 September 2021 on the back of concerns over the demand in the US and Asia, while the stronger US dollar makes commodities traded in this currency less appealing to international traders.
Brent for November settlement loses 53 cents to close at $71.69/barrel.
WTI for October delivery dropped 94 cents to close at $68.35/barrel.
