Oil rallied on supply tightness in the US
International benchmarks for crude oil rose more than 2% on Friday, 10 September 2021 on signs of tightening supply in the US as refineries in the country recover from Hurricane Ida much quicker than oil producers.
Brent jumped $1.47 or 2.3% to settle at $72.92/barrel.
WTI rose $1.58 or 2.3% to close at $69.72/barrel.
