Oil slipped on Friday as US supply started to come back

International benchmarks for crude oil inched lower on Friday, 17 September 2021 as US producers restart production in the Gulf of Mexico, easing supply outlook. Meanwhile, the US dollar climbed to a multi-week high on Friday, making commodities priced in this currency less appealing to international investors. 

Brent fell 33 cents to settle at $75.34/barrel.

WTI dropped 64 cents to close at $71.97/barrel.
