Oil rose sharply as OPEC+ conform to current output policy

International benchmarks for crude oil spike on Monday, 4 October 2021 after OPEC and its allies announced that the group of producers would stick to its current output policy, lifting only another 400,000 barrels per day in November despite pressure from India and the US to add more barrels.
Brent jumped $1.97 or 2.5% to $81.25/barrel.
WTI rose $1.79 or 2.4% to $77.67/barrel.
